Teaching Assistant | Miss Stares

"Together we will give children the very best start in life.

Bio

I joined the school in November 2021, working in the Early Years and supporting children in a one-to-one role. I am now excited to be working in Year 1, continuing to support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1.

I have a strong interest in Early Years education and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I am passionate about the importance of learning through play and creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where all children can thrive.

I’m committed to giving children the very best start in their school journey and helping them develop a love for learning. I continuously build on my skills and knowledge through training, reading, and research, to ensure I provide the best support possible.

Why Ford?

I enjoy working in a small school with an established team. I have previously worked in this area and knew families from the local community.

What am I reading?

I recently read the Salt Path, which currently has a film adaption and is about the South West Coast Path. While I am open to reading any book, my favourite genre is Crime Thrillers.

What am I researching?

I am currently researching about children's behaviour and how it can be seen as a form of communication.
