"Together we will...develop child centred learning that is accessible to all, ensuring success."
Bio
With over 12 years of teaching experience, I began my career in Germany with SCE (Service Childrens Education), where I developed a strong ability to differentiate learning to ensure it was accessible and engaging for all pupils. Teaching within a SCE setting also gave me the opportunity to work with children and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, deepening my understanding of inclusive practice and the importance of building meaningful relationships with the local community.
After returning to the UK, I taught in Hampshire before moving back to Plymouth, where I am currently based at Drake. I am passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment for both children and parents, and I strongly value child-centered learning. A love of reading is at the heart of my teaching, and I’m committed to making learning fun, purposeful, and accessible for every child in my classroom.

What am I reading?
Reading is my passion. I read a variety of different authors and genres and can disappear into another world for hours. I promote my love of reading in my classroom to inspire our young readers.
What am I researching?
As part of my ongoing professional development I am digging deeper into Rosenhine's principles of learning. Applying these strategies in the classroom helps create a more engaging and supportive learning environment, benefiting all students.
